First note
Guangdong mechanical processing plant is not allowed to use unqualified welding tools and equipment for welding without special training. After obtaining the welder certificate, the personnel can use the qualified tools and equipment to engage in the welding work within the scope of qualified items.
Second note
Welding is not allowed on equipment with pressure (liquid pressure or gas pressure) or charged equipment. Under special circumstances, when welding is required on the equipment with pressure and electricity, the work can only be carried out after the work safety analysis, the work plan, the safety measures, the approval of the territorial supervisor and the work permit.
Third note
It is forbidden to weld on containers containing inflammables or on structures or other objects whose paint is not dry. It is forbidden to weld in the room with inflammable and explosive materials. When welding near inflammable and explosive materials, the minimum horizontal distance shall not be less than 5m, and safe and reliable measures shall be taken according to the site conditions (covered with screens or flame retardant materials).
Fourth note
For containers with residual grease or combustible liquid, Guangdong mechanical processing plant should open the cover and clean them; For containers with residual inflammable and explosive materials, they should be cleaned with steam or hot alkaline water, and the cover should be opened before welding.
Fifth note
Welding or gas cutting in the open air is prohibited when the wind force exceeds grade 5. However, when the wind force is below grade 5 or above grade 3 for open-air welding or gas cutting, the wind screen should be set up to prevent the spatter of fire star from causing fire. When it's raining or snowing, it's not allowed to weld or cut in the open air. If welding must be carried out, measures against rain and snow shall be taken.
Fifth and sixth attention
When welding in Guangdong mechanical processing plant, measures should be taken to prevent metal slag splashing and falling to cause fire, as well as measures to prevent scalding, electric shock and explosion. Before leaving the site, the welding personnel shall check and confirm that there is no fire left on the site.
Sixth, seventh attention
When welding in boiler drum, condenser, oil tank, oil tank and other metal containers, the following measures should be taken to prevent electric shock: first, when welding, the welder should avoid contacting with iron parts, stand on rubber insulation pad or wear rubber insulation shoes, and wear dry work clothes. Second, outside the container, there should be a supervisor who can see and hear the welder's work, and a switch should be set to cut off the power according to the welder's signal. Third, the ventilation device should be set up, the internal temperature should not exceed 40 ℃, and oxygen should not be used as the air source for ventilation.
Seventh, eighth note
Guangdong machining plant is not allowed to carry out electric welding and gas welding at the same time in closed containers. Necessary fire-fighting equipment shall be provided when welding near the place that may cause fire.
