The most basic function of any CNC machine tool in Dongguan CNC plant is automatic, accurate and consistent motion control. Most common machine tools use mechanical devices to achieve the required movement, while CNC machine tools control the movement of machine tools in a new way. All kinds of numerical control equipment have two or more directions of motion, called axis. These axes are located precisely and automatically along their length. The two most commonly used types of axes are the linear axis (along a straight track) and the rotation axis (along a circular track).
The common machine tool in Dongguan NC machining plant needs to rotate the handle and hand wheel to generate motion, while the NC machine tool generates motion through programming instructions. Generally, almost all the motion types (fast positioning, linear interpolation and arc interpolation), moving axis, moving distance and moving speed (feed speed) of CNC machine tools are programmable.
The CNC command in the numerical control system of Dongguan NC machining plant drives the motor to rotate a certain precise number of revolutions. The rotation of the driving motor is changed into the linear axis (sliding table) movement with the rotation of the ball screw. The feedback device (linear grating ruler) on the sliding table enables the numerical control system to confirm that the command revolution has been completed, as shown in the figure.
There is the same basic linear motion on a normal vise, although this is a fairly primitive analogy. The rotary vice handle is a rotary screw, which drives the vice jaw to move. Compared with the bench vice, the linear axis of CNC machine tool is very accurate, and the rotation number of the driving motor of the axis accurately controls the moving distance of the linear axis.
