The calibration of the workpiece in the Dongguan CNC processing plant, also called alignment, is a method to check whether the installation of the workpiece is in the correct position before turning the workpiece. The purpose of correction is to ensure that the workpiece allowance is basically the same when rough turning; when semi-finishing turning and finishing turning, it is to ensure that the relative position of the surface to be processed and the processed surface meets the requirements. Quick and correct calibration is an important measure to ensure product quality and shorten auxiliary time.
Dongguan CNC Processing Factory The method of correcting the workpiece with copper rods is a quick correction method when the workpiece is installed after the outer circle and end face of the workpiece are rough-turned, as shown in Figure 3-41. Clamp a copper rod or aluminum rod on the square tool table of the lathe, slightly clamp the workpiece on the three-jaw chuck, start the lathe to rotate at a speed of about 100r/min, make the copper rod contact the end surface or outer circle of the workpiece, and shake it by hand The carriage applies a certain pressure until the surface of the workpiece is in full contact with the copper rod, and then the copper rod is slowly separated from the workpiece, and then the workpiece is stopped and clamped, and the workpiece is corrected.
Dongguan CNC Processing Factory This correction method is fast and accurate, and can achieve a certain accuracy. If the workpiece is properly clamped (less than 10mm), the surface of the workpiece is smooth, and generally the radial runout of the shaft and the end face of the disc workpiece are not more than 0.02mm.
1>Method of straightening slender rod on a lathe
The slender rod must be straightened before turning, otherwise it will cause uneven machining allowance and not round turning, or the bending of the rod will increase due to the large bending centrifugal, and turning will not be possible. The following methods can be used to straighten the slender rod on the lathe.
(1) Use hammering method. Clamp one end of the slender rod with a three-jaw chuck for about 10mm, and one end is supported by the center. Rotate the work at a lower speed, draw a high point on the workpiece with chalk, and then stop. Take a concave iron block in your left hand, make the concave surface leaning against the high point of the workpiece, and hit the high point of the workpiece with a hammer in your right hand. The impact force is proportional to the bending of the workpiece. Repeat this several times, and the workpiece will be straightened. This method is suitable when the rod is thin and long.
(2 The Dongguan CNC processing plant uses the lever prying method. After the slender rod is installed on the lathe, the workpiece is rotated by driving, and a 300mm long wooden stick is placed on the middle carriage and the square knife table, and the middle carriage is shaken. Press the wooden stick to the curved part of the workpiece. Continue to move the middle carriage and follow the tailstock center to prevent the workpiece from coming out. After the workpiece continues to rotate for a few seconds, slowly withdraw the middle carriage and loosen it appropriately.
(3) The Dongguan CNC processing plant uses the counterattack method. When the slender rod is longer and the diameter is relatively large, drill the center holes at both ends first, and use the spindle center and the lathe tailstock center to push it up. Then, rotate the workpiece by hand, find the high point on the workpiece, and draw a mark with chalk. At this time, use an iron block or a larger wooden block about 25mm thick and 40mm wide, wider than the large rail of the lathe, and placed horizontally on the large rail, and put a head on it that is not a 60° pointed shape but a V-shaped or The concave arc-shaped threaded jack is supported on the high point of the workpiece's curvature, and supports it slightly, holding the workpiece with the left hand, and hitting the low point of the workpiece with the round head of the right hand. The number of hits, strength and length of the workpiece are directly proportional to the size of the bend. The straightened work piece is not easy to recover from bending. In addition to the above-mentioned method of straightening the slender rod on the lathe, it is also possible to use the visual inspection outside the machine tool and the above-mentioned method to straighten it on the platform.
